Our Program

Peacocks Early Learning Center (ELC) provides early childhood education and care for children ages 2-6 and is designed to enhance your child’s learning experience and better prepare them for a bright academic future.  We also offer before and after school care programs for school age children. Peacocks ELC is held at 19901 Yorba Linda Blvd, Yorba Linda, Monday – Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Enrollment is limited to 24 children per classroom or 12 children per class. The adult-to-child ratio is 1 to 12. Each class may have up to one teacher and two assistant teachers or teacher aides. Our program supports an open door policy. Parents and legal guardians are welcome to visit their child’s classroom at any time. Check-in at the school office, with valid identification is required prior to entering campus and their child’s classroom, unless it is during the scheduled drop-off and pick-up times.

We think of Peacocks Early Learning Center as a large extended family, embracing children, parents, teachers and all other staff members. Education Program

Peacocks ELC program is based on each child’s personal experience and way of learning. Self-directed activities are provided in a developmentally enriching indoor and outdoor environment that invites the child to explore spontaneously. Hands-on experiences enable the child to grow. The programs provide opportunities to practice and improve the child’s skills and techniques to help build positive attitudes toward learning. Well-organized learning centers contain books, manipulatives, writing materials, puppets, and props for dramatic activities. The classroom schedule gives children numerous opportunities to use language and participate in literacy activities that support their development of language, phonological awareness, print awareness, and alphabet knowledge.
